Overview

Join as a Business Development Manager for the Pest Elimination Street Sales team within Ecolab’s Pest Division in the United Kingdom. In this role you will build and grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses, protect their brand and health & safety, and work across diverse industries such as restaurants, hospitals, hotels, retailers and food‑processing plants.

What You Will Do
  • Prospect and secure customers to achieve annual new business sales goals.
  • Identify sales opportunities and implement effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with the service team, corporate account team and other partners to solve customers’ pest problems.
  • Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Lead and educate customers throughout the sales process.
  • Stay informed on Ecolab product and service offerings and industry conditions to enhance customer outcomes.
  • Complete the world‑class paid training program to become one of the best in the field.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Reliable home office with internet access.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of proven success in B2B commercial sales or comparable experience.
  • Experience in pest elimination or hotel/restaurant sales preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proven relationship management, consulting and negotiation skills.
  • Problem‑solving aptitude for customer solutions.
  • Self‑motivation and drive for results.
  • Knowledge of the pest industry is an advantage but not essential.
