Business Development Executive – QBS Software
QBS Software, a technology platform provider with global reach, is hiring a Business Development Executive in Newbury, UK. The role focuses on expanding the channel ecosystem for software publishers and resellers through a smart, scalable platform.
Responsibilities- Drive sales of allocated products across channels, building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and maintain an effective pipeline.
- Book and conduct calls, Teams meetings, and online demos with prospects and partners.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to create and deliver integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
- Qualify prospects generated by external campaigns, onboard new partners, and provide training and support to resellers and system houses.
- Accurately generate quotes, negotiate, revise, and close deals while following up on orders.
- Track and report on sales activities and KPIs to management, ensuring timely and professional communication with customers.
- Utilize the CRM/ERP to record information and monitor pipeline health.
- Adhere to company procedures, quality policy, and maintain a pleasant team environment.
- Any reasonable tasks or duties as the company sees fit.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the software or IT sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and active listening.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to strategize effectively.
- Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.
- Methodical thinking and strong organisational skills.
- Understanding of the sales cycle from account development to first meetings and follow‑up.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working arrangement:
Home working and office days; candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Newbury office.
Hours:
9:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
