Role Description

To align with Crowndale's 2026 growth plans, Crowndale are searching for Business Development Managers to expand in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas in the Midlands. This role offers a flexible hybrid position to allow the candidate to work from home and be out on the road. The job offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission, a company car and mobile phone.

You will lead efforts to identify new business opportunities and establish strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include identifying potential markets, nurturing client relationships, networking with businesses, and driving revenue growth through strategic customer acquisition. This role reports to the senior management team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and goals.

Qualifications
  • Proven sales and business development expertise, with an ability to identify market opportunities and execute growth strategies.
  • Strong relationship management, customer service, and negotiation skills to foster long‑term client partnerships.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and networking skills to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of market trends and analytical capabilities for sales forecasting and planning.
  • Strong organisational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Previous experience in food service, wholesale, or related industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, sales tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license.
