Head of Business Development at Pulsion Technology
Pulsion Technology is recruiting for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. We are an innovative and successful software development company, who deliver solutions to a range of public, private and third sector organisations across the world. This role will focus on lead generation for our sister company Field Imp, specifically selling our Health and Safety SaaS product, Velappity.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement for a minimum of 2 days in our Glasgow office and the remainder working from home. You will play a key role within the sales and marketing team to drive lead generation for our SaaS product for the company.
We pride ourselves in the quality of our people and the projects we deliver. The successful candidate will have an interest in all things tech and a good work ethic as well as the ability to take initiative, manage workload, and multiple client projects.
Responsibilities- The ideal candidate will come from a B2B environment and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the company. With a hunter mentality and a passion for developing new opportunities from leads into business growth using your strong influencing and networking skills.
- In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Previous sales experience where you have managed your own portfolio of customer accounts, identifying and developing new business-to-business sales opportunities.
- A proven track record of achieving sales, customer retention and engagement call targets.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build good relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- A mature approach to intelligent consultative selling and identifying opportunities, managing your pipeline accurately helping to secure new business.
- This role is laser-focused on proactive outbound prospecting and collaborating with our product development team
- Proven success in cold calling, email sequencing, and Linked In/social selling
- Plan and execute outbound campaigns by industry and persona
- Make high-volume, high-quality calls; send personalised emails; leverage socials to assist engagement
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene (activities, notes, next steps, stage accuracy) and report weekly on pipeline health
- 2 years + B2B Sales experience is essential
- Cold calling and New Business Generation
- Salary and OTE dependent on experience
