Job Description & How to Apply Below
With a unique depth of knowledge and experience in ERP/SaaS solutions, Klipboard has a wide range of clients includes wholesalers, distributors, merchants and retailers from small traders to multinational enterprises. Klipboard has offices in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, South Africa, Kenya and North America. Our mission is simple: to design and deliver high performance, integrated ERP solutions that enable our distributive trade customers to source effectively, stock efficiently, sell profitably and service competitively.
Klipboard is a global, growing business that embraces AI and emerging technologies to enhance customer outcomes, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for people who are curious about or fluid with AI, open to change, and excited to learn how technology can improve the way we work and help our customers which is always supported by strong human insight and communication.
You'll win new mid-market and enterprise customers for Klipboard's Rental software across the UK, owning every deal from first conversation to signed contract. Your buyers are multi-branch rental and equipment-heavy operators: faster cycles at the mid-market end, multi-stakeholder buying groups and long processes at the enterprise end. You'll build your own pipeline, run a disciplined sales process, and work as one team with presales, professional services and customer success, so what we sell is what we deliver.
If you enjoy complex deals, competing stakeholders and tough commercial trade-offs, this is the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan each priority account and map the buying group across operations, finance, IT, procurement and the exec team. Create your own pipeline through targeted outbound, networking, events and partners, alongside marketing and the BD team. Run discovery that goes past stated requirements to the real need, the urgency and the cost of doing nothing. Lead the commercial conversation, teaming up with presales on demos, workshops and proposals.
Navigate procurement, legal and tender or RFP processes, negotiating within agreed commercial parameters. Keep deals, next steps and close plans current in the CRM, call your forecast honestly and flag risks early. Feed market, competitor and customer insight back to sales, marketing and product. Your tools: CRM for pipeline and forecast, sales engagement and outbound sequencing, prospecting and data enrichment, Microsoft 365, and rental sector market and prospect data.
Skills, Knowledge and
Experience:
Proven experience in B2B software sales, including new business selling Tech software or SaaS in the UK across mid-market and enterprise. A consistent track record of hitting new business targets in mid-market and enterprise deals. Experience owning the full cycle on complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long buying processes. A structured approach to qualification and forecasting, such as MEDDIC, Challenger or similar.
Confidence with senior stakeholders, including board and C-level. Enough technical understanding to talk credibly about applications, integrations and implementation with IT and operations teams. Strong written and verbal communication, including clear presentations to senior audiences. Based in the UK, with a valid UK driving…
