Job Description & How to Apply Below
Outcome-based, fully flexible time commitment. Work from anywhere.
You already know people who could use what Machines Like Me builds. This role turns that network into closed business, and pays you for the outcome, not the hours.
Who's MACHINES LIKE ME?Most established companies are using a small fraction of what AI can already do for them today.
Our mission is to help all companies to realize this potential.
MACHINES LIKE ME delivers AI-powered automation that removes repetitive administrative tasks so organizations can focus on higher-value work. The company combines cutting-edge artificial intelligence with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to create autonomous, versatile software that handles complex standardized IT and business processes. Implementations are fast, cost-effective, and integrate into existing systems with minimal disruption. Clients typically expand usage after initial success, reflecting strong satisfaction and tangible operational improvements.
MACHINES LIKE ME is growing rapidly. Become part of the growth.
Where a Sales Development Representative (SDR) is mostly about generating new leads, a Sales Agent is about closing business through a network you already have. Concretely, that means introducing MACHINES LIKE ME to people you know and, from there, helping move strong opportunities to a signed deal.
There are two ways to work this role, and you can land anywhere on that line:
At the low-touch end, you make warm introductions into your network and then step back. Machines Like Me's team runs the rest of the process. You're paid on the business impact those introductions produce.
At the close-to-the-client end, you stay involved through the process. You help shape the pitch, join conversations, and help structure the deal alongside the Machines Like Me team that delivers. You're paid on what closes.
In both modes, your income follows closed business.
What you'll do- Introduce Machines Like Me to people in your network who could use it: decision-makers with budget, team, or process responsibility.
- Depending on which mode you're working in: either hand off a warm introduction cleanly, or stay involved and help carry the opportunity through to a signed deal.
- Learn Machines Like Me's proposition, references, and where the strongest automation opportunities sit well enough to spot them in your own network without being told where to look.
- Use the internal AI tools built for sales agents to show up in your network with concrete ideas, not a generic pitch.
- Actively grow your presence inside a handful of high-potential accounts. Find people inside the account who can open doors for you, instead of stopping at the first contact.
- An existing network, ideally with some technology interest or background, since you're representing an AI company.
- Comfort communicating with senior stakeholders: people who own budget, teams, or process responsibility. You'll need to convince us of this in the hiring conversation, because you'll need to convince them later.
- Full flexibility in how much time you put in. This is entirely outcome-oriented, not a fixed schedule.
You're onboarded: you have the presentation material, you understand what Machines Like Me offers and for whom, and you know the reference cases. You have a clear sense of where the real automation opportunities are, plus access to the internal AI tools built for sales agents. You've made your first warm introductions — at least 5 to 10 contacts, run together with a regional partner.
