We are currently recruiting a Security Officer to work on an established automotive manufacturing site in Sunderland. Pay: £12.21 per hour. This is a full‑time permanent position working 56 hours per week with a 7 on / 3 off or 7 on / 4 off shift pattern. You must be fully flexible to work Monday‑Sunday, day and night shifts. Candidates must have a UK manual driving licence and be aged 18 or over.

• Ensure the safety of customers’ staff, buildings and assets while providing excellent customer service.
• Greet staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site.
• Perform gatehouse duties and conduct searches when required.
• Take delivery of parcels and advise the recipient by phone.
• Deal with any security incidents on site and complete relevant incident report forms.
• Maintain good attention to detail.

• Minimum age 18 years or older.
• Confident communicator, team player with a drive to provide friendly and professional service.
• Good IT knowledge.
