We have a great opportunity to join the team as an Area Security Officer, covering sites in Plymouth.

The role will be to cover a mixture of sites across the area, such as office spaces, warehouses and business sites of well known companies. When on site, you will be part of the security team conducting patrols, searches and maintaining the customer standard at all times.

The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour.

This is a full-time role. You will be working a 42 hour week, working 4 on 4 off, which means you need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday, as well as covering day and night shifts. Please be aware there will be a requirement for frequent weekend working to cover extra duties.

Please be aware that this position will require a SC Clearance, so you will be asked questions in regards to this in a telephone interview to ensure you meet the requirements.

Your Time at Work

• Meet and greet staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols.
• Conducting searches where required.
• Patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Area Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.

We are looking for people who currently hold a valid SIA.

You must drive and have access to your own transport.
