Social Worker/Senior Practitioner in Duty/Children in Care in Stafford earning £33.30 per hour. This is an exciting opportunity for a locum position on an ongoing contract. Offering full-time hours, you will work with diverse teams across Staffordshire, where the Integrated Front Door Service, Duty Teams, and Children in Care Team need your expertise. As a peripatetic social worker, you’ll bring your skills to different locations as required, with consideration for your geographic proximity.

What you will do:
– Offer comprehensive social work support across diverse children’s services
– Conduct detailed assessments and create actionable support plans
– Undertake duty work, responding to urgent needs and providing immediate assistance
– Collaborate effectively with various teams countywide to provide seamless family support
– Participate in court proceedings and offer expert recommendations
– Keep concise and accurate records to monitor children’s progress and well-being

Requirements:
– A degree in social work or equivalent qualification
– Current registration with Social Work England
– Substantial frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker
