Salary: Up to £42.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Children In Care Team in Exeter. This full-time locum role offers hybrid working flexibility while providing vital support to children in care. You will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, contributing to effective care planning and positive outcomes.

• Assess, plan, and review cases for children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with families, carers, and other professionals to create effective care plans.
• Attend and contribute to child care reviews and meetings, ensuring the voice of the child is central to all decisions.
• Provide guidance, advice, and support to families and foster carers, helping to improve outcomes for children.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in line with statutory regulations and organisational standards.

• Minimum three years post-qualifying experience (PQE) in social work.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
