Senior Social Worker - CTPLD (maternity cover up to 12 months fixed term contract)

About the role

Full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity. The position is on a secondment basis for internal employees and is available to external candidates.

Key responsibilities
  • Supervise team members and contribute to various projects.
  • Hold a caseload of people with Learning Disabilities and Autism and fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service.
  • Conduct assessment, support planning, review and direct work with service users.
  • Provide general case management duties and support planning.
  • Maintain a laptop and a mobile phone to enable remote working.
Qualifications
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience and knowledge of working within the current Social Care System and Framework.
  • Pass a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check as part of pre‑employment checks.
