As the Remote Enforcement Examiner (Regulatory Compliance Officer), you will work closely with a team of Enforcement professionals to support DVSA’s aims to prevent, enable and respond. Your main purpose is to assess and follow up on roadside offences, analyse data to make informed decisions on compliance information, collaborate with the wider team, internal and external stakeholders, respond to enquiries from the public and handle complaints.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring and leading on remote enforcement schemes
  • Conducting Desk Based Assessments (DBA’s) of operators, approved tachograph centres and MOT testing stations, to assess their processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Analysing data and information provided by operators

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

  • You are a self‑motivated and ambitious individual who is comfortable working independently and keen to develop and build knowledge.
  • You will have a good level of computer literacy including experience of Microsoft Word and Excel in particular.
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills and can effectively deliver information in a clear, confident and professional manner.
  • You will be someone who can build rapport with key stakeholders both internally and externally and enjoys working collaboratively with people at all levels.
