Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

Substantial experience in Children in Care or Looked After Children (LAC) teams.

Strong understanding of relevant legislation, statutory responsibilities, and safeguarding practices.

Confidence in court work and collaborative, multi-agency engagement.

Willingness to work within a hybrid model (office presence required for specific tasks and meetings).

Manage a caseload of children and young people in care, ensuring their welfare, safety, and emotional well-being are prioritised.

Develop and review comprehensive care plans
, working closely with carers, families, and professionals to support long-term stability.

Promote positive transitions and permanency outcomes
, including placements, education, and therapeutic support.

Contribute to and attend court proceedings
