Job Title: Locum Social Worker – Family Safeguarding Team

• Provide expert support to children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings, and Care Proceedings plans.
• Manage and respond to your own caseload, including urgent matters, while working from both home and the office.
• Engage collaboratively with families, using child-centred approaches to strengthen and protect family dynamics.
• Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to accurate report writing.
• Offer guidance on Adoption processes when necessary.
• Actively contribute to team meetings and share professional knowledge and experience.
• Support the Family Safeguarding team in covering essential duties, ensuring consistent service delivery.

• Experience working with children and families in safeguarding roles.
• Ability to manage diverse safeguarding plans effectively.
• Experience with Adoption is desirable but not essential.
• Dedication, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
