Are you passionate about helping children, young people, and families achieve positive change? We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Family Support Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with families, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children.

This vacancy is for 1 post Full Time 37 hours.

• Chair District Integrated Allocation Screening Meetings and Team Round the Family Network Meetings
• Undertake Case Audits for the Family Support, present findings to Colleagues and Team Managers
• Deputise for Team Managers in the their absence
• Support children, young people, and their families on a 1:1 or group basis using a variety of interventions.
• Help identify needs and work towards achieving positive, meaningful outcomes.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers to empower them and promote improved outcomes for their children.
• Collaborate effectively with children's services, health agencies, and wider community services to ensure joined-up support.
• Contribute to ongoing service development and improvement.
• Apply safeguarding and child protection procedures consistently and appropriately.
• Take responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of equipment and resources in daily work.
• Maintain clear, accurate case notes and contribute to case reports.

• While there is no formal supervisory responsibility, you will be expected to support and advise colleagues as needed.

• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment.

• Have experience working with children, young people, or families (paid or voluntary).
• Are a strong communicator and team player.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and can follow procedures confidently.
• Are organised, reliable, and able to maintain accurate written records.
• Are committed to making a positive difference in the community.
