Day to Day ResponsibilitiesTeammate Interaction – work alongside folks like Project Manager, Coordinators, UX / UI Designers and other friendly Dev's as part of a larger team.
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliableLaravelapplications.
- Develop and integrateRESTful APIsand third-party services.
- Deployment of applications & services
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between systems.
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning.
- 3+ yearsof professional experience usingLaravel
- Strong understanding ofMVC architecture,ORMs (Eloquent), andservice containers.
- Experience withMySQLdatabases, including schema design and query optimisation.
- Solid understanding ofAPI development(REST, JSON).
- Proficient inGitand modern version control workflows (Git Hub/Bitbucket).
- Experience withqueuing systems(e.g. Laravel Queues, Redis, Rabbit
MQ). - Familiarity with containerisationand deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working in hybrid teams.
- Experience withAWS / Azure / Digital Oceanor other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge offront-end frameworks(e.g. Blade, React) for API integration.
- Contributions to open-source projects or involvement in the Laravel community.
- Working knowledge of unit testing and automated testing tools
- Hybrid working model – a flexible balance between office and remote working.
