• Effectively evolve, enhance, and modernize large-scale systems to enable rapid adaptability and continuous improvement.
• Improve the performance, reliability and scalability of our systems.
• Develop and drive automation for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of infrastructure. Build tools and processes to enable continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Make data guided decisions that impact core business metrics and processes.
• Solid understanding of platform and reliability engineering approaches, including observability, performance optimisation, capturing analytics and security best practices.
• Drive the adoption of technologies like Go and Python.
• Facilitate collaboration between teams and build a culture of continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on engineering best practices, coding standards, and troubleshooting.

• Strong Golang knowledge and experience.
• AWS products like Lambdas, Dynamo
  
  DB, etc but also comfortable in Azure and Azure Dev Ops.
• Containerisation and IaC approach (Terraform is a plus).
• A solid understanding of development methodologies and design patterns.
• Python and SST (desirable).
• C# ASP.NET, .Net Core (desirable).
• Cloudflare (desirable).
• React, Typescript, Astro, NodeJS (desirable).
