We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Unreal Engine Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scripts, integrating assets, creating blueprints, and developing HUD elements and menu options within Unreal Engine
5. Strong communication skills and adherence to timelines are essential for this role. Proficiency in Unreal Engine (versions 5.0 and higher) and C++ is required.
- Design and implement scripts for use within Unreal Engine 5
- Creatively implement game design and movement concepts based on provided references
- Utilize a strong understanding of Unreal Engine scripting workflow to efficiently develop
- Implement various assets into Unreal Engine in an organized manner
- Create blueprints for meshes to utilize within the game environment
- Develop HUD elements and static menu options based on provided designs
- Write neatly organized and commented code for both blueprints and C++ scripts
- Maintain active communication with team members for effective collaboration
- Adhere to given timelines and milestones to efficiently manage workload
- Utilize GIT for version control and collaboration
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine (versions 5.0 and higher) and C++ programming language
- Strong understanding of Unreal Engine scripting workflow and development practices
- High communication with team members and ability to follow reference material to match game mechanic concepts
- Ability to implement assets and develop functionality within Unreal Engine
- Experience creating blueprints for meshes and designing HUD elements and menus
- Proficient in writing organized and commented code for both Blueprints and C++
- High-speed internet access with consistent download speeds of at least 30
Mbps, upload speeds of at least 10
Mbps, and a ping/latency of at most 12ms (required for remote working) - Must be an Ontario, Canadian citizen to apply.
- Experience with the Hack n Plan production toolset
- Job Type: Contract - Production
- Contract length: 3 months
- Salary: $28 per hour
- Expected hours: 35 per week
- Primary Language Requirement: English
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Minimum Experience: Mid-Level
- Location: Hamilton, Ontario (Remote)
