Workday is a Fortune 500 AI platform focused on people, money, and agents. We are building an open‑source, low‑code platform that simplifies the creation of AI solutions for HR and finance. The team is dedicated to delivering intuitive chatbots and autonomous agents.

We need a Frontend Software Engineer passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. As a core member, you will shape the visual identity and interaction design of Flowise, impacting tools such as the visual flow builder and chat interfaces.

• Develop Frontend Solutions:
  Design, develop, and improve the UX for the Flowise application, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Innovate and Execute:
  Build Flowise into the leading visual low‑code tool for AI agents across open‑source, cloud, and enterprise versions.
• Collaborate and Implement:
  Partner with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements and implement solutions.
• Drive Code Quality:
  Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of excellence.
• Resolve UI Issues:
  Identify and fix interface problems, use a team‑first mindset, and learn quickly.

• 3+ years professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years with JavaScript/Type Script, React, HTML, and CSS.
• A portfolio demonstrating complex, interactive UIs.

• UI/UX skills: front‑end state management, component‑based architecture, performance optimization.
• Backend fundamentals:
  Node.js ecosystem, database schemas, data modeling.
• Testing & tooling:
  Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, build tools such as Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup.
• Collaboration & problem solving: effective cross‑functional teamwork and communication.
• Dev Ops & infrastructure: automated testing, CI/CD, Docker (plus).

Base pay range: $106,400 CAD – $159,600 CAD. Eligible for Workday Bonus Plan, commission, annual stock grants. Compensation tailored to location, experience, skills, duties, and business need.

Primary location:
Vancouver, BC.

We combine in‑person and remote work. Expect at least 50% of each quarter in office or client sites. Flexibility allows you to schedule offline time while staying connected.
