Core Responsibilities- Architect and implement highly scalable, robust backend services
- Contribute to the development of responsive and intuitive UIs
- Drive technical design discussions, including API specifications (e.g.,
tRPC, OpenAPI
), and contribute to overall system architecture - Ensure data integrity and performance by optimising PostgreSQL database queries and data processing pipelines
- Enhance the reliability and performance of our platform through improved observability, monitoring, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in a product‑focused engineering role
- Proven ability to take end‑to‑end ownership of features in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment
- Professional background in the payments industry or broader fintech sector
- Exposure to integrating or building AI/ML features into production systems
- Track record of delivering high‑performance, low‑latency distributed systems
