I am recruiting for a Senior QA Engineer to work fully remotely in the UK on behalf of my US based software house who provide software solutions within both the telecoms and financial services arena.

As a Senior QA Engineer you will need to have a working background in either financial services or telecoms and be experienced in software API testing.

As a Senior QA Engineer you will need to have experience

and will join a global team of 16 within the engineering team to maintain high quality Applications and SDKs.

Stock Options Senior QA Engineer Responsibilities:

Responsible for manual and automated test design, execution, and reporting.
Analyse functional requirements including use cases and creating associated test plans.
Maintain and expand the existing automation test framework, write and implement automation scripts in Python.
Perform tests for backwards compatibility, as well as positive and negative testing
Reporting and Verification of defects.
Contribute feedback to engineering regarding quality and testability considerations

Senior QA Engineer

Qualifications:

Good software quality assurance experience with multiple programming technologies, including Java, Json, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Web Service
Ideally have experience as an API/SDK tester
Need to have Python automation experience
Linux must have - Not just someone that test webapps or web pages must have linux and know how to do the back end items
Financial industry would be advantage or Telecom experience
2 to 3 year software quality assurance with multiple programming
Work experience using a scripting language is a must
Experience working in a Linux development environment
Troubleshooting skills in both black-box and white-box testing
Must be able to understand requirements and design the test plans
Knowledge of authorisation and authentication frameworks.
Good experience in test automation.
Knowledge of commerce, financial or payment applications is preferred
Knowledge of source control and bug tracking tools
Highly team oriented, collaborative and flexible
Ideally have BS in Computer Science or related subject area
Knowledge of applications deployed in cloud environments
