Full Stack Developer (Hybrid On-site/Remote)
We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Developer
to join our relaxed, close-knit team in Llandudno.
This is a
hybrid role
, with one day per week in the office (in Llandudno, North Wales) and the rest working remotely.
You’ll be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the platforms that deliver learning to thousands of our users.
About the RoleYou’ll be working on our proprietary
Learning Management System (LMS)built on
PHP (Mezzio / Laminas Framework), supporting features such as assessments, reporting, certification, and tutor workflows.
You’ll also work across
several Word Press-powered websites
that include
custom code and integrations
with our LMS,
payment processors
, and other business tools. You’ll enhance functionality, performance, and user experience while improving interoperability across our ecosystem.
A major part of your work will involve
developing and integrating APIs
— ensuring smooth communication between our internal systems, third-party services, and customer-facing platforms.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll
build new features, maintain existing ones, and refactor core systems
to support our long-term roadmap.
- LAMP stack
- RESTful APIs and integrations
- jQuery + Bootstrap 4 UI
- Word Press (custom code and integrations)
- AWS (S3, SES, and other services)
- Git for version control
- Minimum3 years’ experience
in full stack development - Proven experience with
API development and integration - Good understanding of
HTML, CSS, and responsive design - Experience with MySQL and modern front-end frameworks
- Familiarity with Word Press development and plugin management
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and projects
- Problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for learning
This is a full-time role, permanent contract.
