Junior to Senior PHP Developer

We are seeking talented and experienced Junior to Senior PHP Developers to join our growing team.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for coding and a strong understanding of PHP development principles and the software development life-cycle.

They will also be proficient in designing and implementing database solutions.

This role will involve collaborating with our team to design, develop, and maintain a PHP-based application that meets our clients' needs.

• Interpret and refine software specifications.
• Develop, test, and deploy a high-quality PHP application that interacts with the database to create dynamic web pages.
• Design and develop database schemas for applications.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions that meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP development trends and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Write and maintain software documentation.

• NQF Level 5+ in Computer Science or a related IT qualification.
• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Code Igniter.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Preference will be given to citizens from the SADC region who are resident in South Africa.
• Obtain a competent rating on the ZTQ Solutions' battery of recruitment assessments.
