Mid / Senior Django / Full-Stack engineer (Europe / Africa based - Fully remote)

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project for a US-based B2B SaaS client who has a very successful real estate CRM platform.

We're looking for a Mid / Senior engineer with Python and Django experience (and some React) to join Overloop. We are a close-knit small team, committed to quality code, processes that work, honesty, and seeing things through to completion. A typical working day will involve a 20 minute catch up call to kick off the day, reviewing requirements and/or bug reports, coding, discussing over Slack and Google Hangouts, creating a github PR, getting the PR reviewed and seeing your code get to production to make a difference for our clients.

Overloop is a UK based company, and our team currently works remotely from around Europe, Africa, and South America.

We are looking for a Europe based Senior Python / Django and React Engineer with the following experience, that is happy to work some hours to overlap with a US timezone :

• Python, 4+ years
• Django, 3+ years

• React
• Postgres
• AWS
• SQL
• Computer Science degree
• Team Lead
• LLM

• Great communication skills
• Proactive mindset
• Problem solving

Approximate salary range - £55,000 - £60,000 per year - depending on experience. If you prefer to be a self employed contractor, we are happy to discuss hourly rates instead.

The successful candidate may also be required to be scheduled on a rota once a month for on-call support work to fix any potential outages - this of course comes with additional payment to the above.

• You will be asked to complete a tech test ahead of the interview – check your emails (including spam) to make sure you haven't missed the invite
• There will be a short 30 min interview where we run through the solution to your tech test and assess your CV.
• The second interview will closely follow the first, and will similar – we will get you to do a bit more coding and talk about the role we are hiring for.
• Finally if we think you are a good fit, we will arrange a meeting together with our client and you will have the opportunity to ask more questions, and demonstrate your skills.
