Principal Software Engineer

Our client, a scaling infrastructure powerhouse, is currently seeking a Principal Engineer.

Demand for their product is exploding, outpacing their current capacity. The Principal Engineer will be instrumental in meeting this demand, shaping the future of their platform, and growing their engineering team.

The ideal candidate must be a Go expert with the deep‑seated knowledge to not just run services on Kubernetes, but to write the code that interacts directly with the K8s platform itself (e.g., controllers or operators, hot to scale,…).

In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be the driving force behind the platform's performance :

• Architecting and Developing high‑performance backend systems.
• Designing and implementing scalable APIs that service global demand.
• Building the next generation of infrastructure necessary to power cutting‑edge AI workloads.

This is a senior role requiring expertise that moves beyond the basics :

• Go (Golang) :
  Deep, expert‑level proficiency is non‑negotiable.
• Kubernetes (K8s) :
  Proven experience writing code for Kubernetes (not just deploying to it).
• SQL :
  Strong practical experience with relational databases, specifically Postgre
  
  SQL (or similar).

• Fully Remote :
  The role is open to candidates working from anywhere in the UK.
• Important Note :
