OverviewEmbark on a four‑year apprenticeship in digital and technology solutions (software engineering). You’ll support business areas by automating processes and building new solutions to drive innovation. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six‑month placements while studying part‑time at Nottingham Trent University for a fully‑funded BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions (software engineering).

E.ON. - Work with cyber security, data strategy, sustainability, and digital technology operations teams during six‑month placements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and finance to review budget controls and meet technology needs.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including grade 4 or above in English language and grade 5 or above in maths.
- 3 A‑Levels (or equivalent) totalling 120 UCAS points, including maths, science or IT. A preceding level apprenticeship or demonstrable work experience may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Base location:
Nottingham office. Hybrid working model – expected in office 1‑3 days a week with flexibility to work from home. - Academic studies require you to be on campus on the day or block release.
- Starting salary: £21,500, with potential for pay progression based on academic and placement performance.
- Only one
E.ON degree/level 7 apprenticeship scheme may be applied for.
