We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Dev Ops Engineer) to join our SaaS and Cloud Services team based from our Yate, Bristol office working a hybrid model of 2 days per week in the office.

• Enhancing and developing across Dev Sec Ops  domains including deployment, security, and automation using technologies like Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
• Delivering high-quality solutions in languages like Typescript, Golang, and Python across disciplines such as full stack and microservices.
• Evaluating third-party products for security, cost, and functionality.
• Designing cost-effective, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Quickly and iteratively delivering value through continuous delivery principles.
• Assessing and optimizing architecture and operational processes.
• Staying updated with industry trends and integrating best practices.
• Collaborating with teams to align processes with strategic goals.
• Ensuring adherence to standards like ISO 27001 and providing evidence of compliance.
• Understanding the broader architectural context and advocating for suitable solutions.

We are interested in hearing from you, if you have most of the following attributes :

• Experienced professional.
• Adaptable, quick learner comfortable with new domains.
• Strong coding skills and the ability to work across multiple languages. We currently use Typescript, Golang, Python and Kotlin.
• Good understanding of development best practices and ability to apply them.
• Effective communicator across teams, functions, and organizations.
• Skilled in analysing architecture, products, and processes.
• Capable of innovating and building solutions to solve problems in line with long-term strategies
• Driven to enhance the organization and champion impactful solutions.
• Foundational understanding of Dev Sec Ops  design and tooling
• Foundational understanding of cloud technologies. We mainly work with AWS, but value experience with any cloud provider.

• Up to £75,000 per annum
