Python Developer Assistant - IDATA Unit

We are looking for a Python Developer Assistant to work in the Integrated Data Unit.

Retribuzione annua: 28000€ - 34000€

Responsabilità
The interim will:

Support the migration from legacy data collection and database systems to a new cloud-based data management infrastructure
Develop and optimize Python-based scripts to automate data validation, transformation and migration
Support the integration of data from multiple sources into unified and reusable database
Conduct testing and quality assurance of the new environment

Qualifiche
Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
Excellent knowledge of Python

Experience with PySpark is considered an asset
Previous experience in software development, data engineering and/or database management
Behavioural competencies: ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results

Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.
Salary: approx. €2259 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
