As the Head of Engineering
, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision, leading the development team, and bridging the gap between technology and business goals. You’ll be responsible for inspiring a high‑performing team while being hands‑on when needed, ensuring the delivery of innovative and scalable e‑commerce solutions.

Role is open to remote candidates in Canada or the US.

• Shopify Expertise: Leverage in‑depth knowledge of Shopify’s ecosystem and roadmap to drive e‑commerce success.

• Hands‑On & Adaptable: Be strategic yet willing to get hands‑on with the code when needed.

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team, preferably in an e‑commerce or digital agency setting.
• Deep expertise with Shopify and the broader Shopify ecosystem (APIs, custom development, integrations).
• Strong client‑facing and consultative skills, with a strategic mindset to bridge business and technology.
• Exceptional leadership and team‑building abilities, with a track record of inspiring high‑performance teams.
• Hands‑on coding experience, with the ability to contribute to the codebase when needed.
• Passion for e‑commerce and digital experiences, with a growth‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
