Remote Fullstack Engineer; Frontend Heavy

Role Overview:

Turing is looking for experienced Full Stack Developers to build modern solutions that power AI products and evaluation workflows.

You'll work with Node.js/Nest.js and a modern frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue) to implement features, improve code quality and testing, and contribute to datasets and evaluation pipelines that align LLM behavior with real-world user needs.

This is a remote, flexible consulting role with a unique opportunity to apply your engineering expertise to frontier AI challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain high-quality JS/TS services and UIs for AI training and evaluation.
• Design and run evaluation pipelines, documenting rationales and improvements.
• Collaborate on SFT/RLHF dataset creation and process refinement.
• Conduct code reviews and raise quality standards across the stack.

What We're Looking For:

• Advanced JS/TS (ES6+) skills; strong with Node.js/Nest.js and at least one frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Proven ability in web app architecture, testing discipline, and code readability.
• Familiarity with scalable, modular full-stack development.
• BS/MS in CS/Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving ability and clear English communication for async collaboration.

Offer Details:

• Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST. (We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week)
• Engagement type : Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)
• Duration of contract : 1 month; expected start date is next week
