As a Senior Software Developer in the Digital Workflow Team at Vention…

You’ll join one of our most dynamic and exciting software teams, guiding technology choices and architecture design as our department scales. In the Digital Workflow team, you’ll design and implement web-based applications that automate industrial machines — from cloud simulation all the way to shop-floor operation. You’ll collaborate with product managers, QA developers, leaders, and junior team members to deliver high-impact solutions and help shape our technical roadmap.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in all aspects of the software lifecycle: requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build full-stack web applications (TypeScript, backend and frontend) to integrate with Vention’s automation technology and enable customer interaction with industrial machines.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all code-base modules, models, and workflows.
• Lead technical initiatives and projects that cross teams and departments, driving architectural decisions and execution.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering growth and excellence within the team.

What You Bring to the Table

You’ll bring:

• 7+ years of experience in software development (preferably with TypeScript).
• Experience with TypeScript, Python, and web development frameworks such as React.
• Understanding of distributed systems design and related technical challenges.
• Strong ownership mentality, with experience handling complex end-to-end solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity.
• A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful
• Experience with embedded and cloud/web systems.
• Strong documentation skills and proven ability to mentor.
