• Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to create a tangible roadmap
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
• Ability to compose a service-oriented architecture
• Strong commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code
• Passion for building an open financial system that connects the world

• Experience in a company experiencing rapid growth from startup to mid-size
• Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, specifically Bitcoin and Ethereum
• Experience decomposing large monoliths into microservices
• Proficiency in Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, Mongo
  
  DB, or DynamoDB
