About the role:
As a Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in building visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance web applications and user interfaces for the Made platform. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your work will directly impact the user experience, helping to bring seamless and engaging applications to our growing audience.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design and implement features that bring additional value to the users of the Made platform.
● Contribute to the architecture and implementation decisions for our applications front end and middleware.
● Actively look for solutions to improve the workflow, technology, and products within the Made team.
● Continually expand and improve the knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices.
● Implement and maintain responsive UI/UX elements, ensuring consistent design and functionality across mobile devices.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, back-end, product management) to deliver new features and improve app functionality.
● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
● Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Perform thorough testing of mobile features to ensure optimal performance, usability, and bug-free operation.
● Stay updated with web and mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks to continuously enhance the app’s performance and features.
● Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution.
● Contribute to code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
● Collaborate in an agile environment to meet deadlines and release schedules.
Key Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● 3+ years of experience in front-end web development.
● Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
● Strong experience with React.
● Experience with Next.js and Node.js.
● Solid understanding of web design patterns, UI/UX principles, and responsive web design.
● Experience with REST APIs and integrating back-end services into web applications.
● Experience with BFF (Back-end for Front-end) is a plus.
● Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
● Knowledge of web application testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Selenium).
● Ability to write performant, efficient, and bug-free code with a focus on clean design and maintainability.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
