Job Description This is a hybrid working role, split between home working and our Uxbridge office.

Alta Video  provides an enhanced and innovative cloud security system solution for small and large scale customers.

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend automation expertise, excellent API testing skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with developers. While experience with our specific tech stack is not required, having proficiency in Go is a significant bonus. Above all, we value enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.##

Basic Requirements
** You’re not expected to have all the following skills, but they will be useful in performing your job. We are looking for someone who:
*** Can design and maintain automation test scripts.
* Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes.
* Has good troubleshooting skills.
* Is comfortable and can showcase experience in a programming language, e.g. Go.
* Experienced in API-based scripting
** It is also considered a bonus if you are:
*** Hands-on experience with Go programming.
* Familiarity with tools and methodologies for soak or performance testing.
* Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD scheduling tools.
* Exposure to video platforms, video technologies, or streaming solutionsqualifications.
