Senior Platform Engineer; Python

• Profitable B2B SaaS company, teams are based out of North America

• Role is 95% remote in Toronto (we meet up 1x a month).

• Must be able to legally work in Canada (visa or sponsorship won't be provided)

• We're growing and we are looking to hire a BE Python Developer for a Platform (not applications) team

• Open on seniority from Senior to Staff level

Tech Stack: Python, Django, Celery, React, Typescript, Azure.

About You:

We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Staff/Lead Platform Engineer who wants to play a core role in building our platform team. This role will be 100% back-end focused.

Example Responsibilities:

- New API Design:Working on making the platform more scalable and data performant.

- Complex Integrations work:Working with heavy hitters like Meta, Tik Tok, Snapchat on the ad tech side.

- Lead Async task management:We're using Celery, we'd like you to take this over and optimize how we do concurrency, distributed tasks, resource intensive jobs.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of full stack experience building enterprise-level B2B/B2C SaaS Platforms (ideally in Python)

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of API Services (incl. Microservices)

• Note:
  
  We're open to non Python Devs if they have great experience and are willing to make the switch over

• Led features for a complex B2B/B2C Saas Platform

• Async optimization experience, we use Celery

• Experience building and architecting distributed systems (deploying over Azure)

• Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline

• Experience owning an application end-to-end and can understand/address infrastructure concerns

Target FT Salary Range:

• $130,000 - $180,000
  * base CDN a year, with Equity & Health Benefits

• * Comp range be higher for Staff level Devs
