The role is remote and based in the EMEA region.
Role Summary
As a senior engineer on the Web Engineering team, you will own the development of large projects and drive best practices for the entire team. You will write specifications, manage risks, reduce complexity, mentor teammates, and represent the team as a 情色 using item in.
Responsibilities
Identify what matters for the team and drive improvement initiatives.
Design and implement well‑tested, documented software.
Debug and fix issues encountered by users.
Lead engineering processes through code and architectural reviews.
Contribute to technical documentation and ensure it is of high quality.
Seek improvements to engineering and operations practices.
Deploy and operate services developed by the team.
Advocate for the product’s success through technical advocacy.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a compelling alternative path.
Strong technical quality standards and architectural design skills.
Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu) and good command of English.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Self‑motivated, driven, organized, and able to deliver on schedule.
Experience researching new technology and integrating modern approaches.
Capability to mentor and develop teammates in a structured way.
Ability to represent the team as a subject‑matter expert across the organisation.
Willingness to travel twice a year for company events up to two weeks each.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Container technologies (LXD, Docker, Kubernetes).
REST API design, development and governance.
Experience fostering and maintaining high‑performing teams.
