About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Virtual Reality Educational Content Creator to design immersive learning experiences. This fully remote, contract-based role focuses on developing engaging VR content for various educational subjects, utilizing cutting-edge VR development tools and platforms. You will be instrumental in transforming traditional learning materials into interactive, three-dimensional educational modules that captivate students and enhance understanding, working independently and collaborating with a distributed team of educators and developers to push the boundaries of immersive learning.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and script interactive VR educational experiences.
- Utilize VR development software (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) to build immersive learning environments.
- Create 3D models, animations, and interactive elements for educational purposes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate learning objectives into engaging VR content.
- Test and iterate on VR content to ensure usability, effectiveness, and optimal user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in VR technology and educational applications.
- Proven experience in VR content development , with a strong portfolio showcasing educational projects.
- Proficiency in game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, and related VR development tools.
- Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and scripting languages (e.g., C#, C++).
- Understanding of instructional design principles and how to apply them to immersive learning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a distributed team.
