About the job

We are currently looking for researchers and editors who can provide detailed assessments of manuscripts (along the lines of journal peer reviews)

• Provide expert input in the form of peer-review‑style comments on manuscripts.
• Highlight areas for improvement and evaluate the manuscript’s readiness for publication.
• Prepare a detailed assessment report outlining your evaluation and recommendations.
• Ensure that all deliverables are submitted within client deadlines.

• Prior experience as an invited peer reviewer for a journal or as a journal editor. (Mandatory)
• At least 10 published manuscripts as an author or co‑author (Mandatory)
• A PhD or MD in one of the following areas (Mandatory):

Surgery | Education | Ophthalmology | Clinical Oncology | Theoretical Physics / Atomic and Molecular Physics | Theology | Philosophy / Theology | Muscle, Bone, and Physical & Sports Medicine | Reproductive Medicine and OBGYN | Pediatrics | Sociology | Linguistics | Design and Aesthetics | Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine

• Flexibility. You can telecommute from anywhere. You will also have the flexibility to keep your own work hours as long as you meet the deadlines.
• You are at liberty to take up work outside CACTUS.
