Transport Planner

A vacancy has arisen within the Transport department for a Transport Planner, working alongside the existing members of the Transport team. You will join our client on a full-time, permanent basis , and in return, you will receive a competitive salary + benefits.

This position will suit a person with transport and vehicle routing knowledge.

Working hours will be  Monday to Friday. Once full training is completed, there will be set work-at-home days.

• Planning the drivers and fleet both onsite and at the regional out-based depots to achieve set planned deliveries nationwide.
• Efficient routing of the fleet to maximise and maintain customer service whilst ensuring legal compliance with driver working hours and fuel utilisation.
• Adjusting plans daily to accommodate changes
