Traffic Dispatcher – Container Management

Location: Home-based (with weekly travel to Nottingham office)
Division: Fleet & Facilities, Containers

We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Dispatcher to join our Container Management team. This home-based role is key to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of containers across 72 depots nationwide, with regular collaboration at our Nottingham office.

• Handle incoming container requests and schedule timely deliveries.
• Monitor stock across six container distribution centre’s.
• Optimize routing for productivity and cost control, prioritizing internal transport.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and transport regulations.

• Strong knowledge of container logistics and distribution.
• Excellent organisational and routing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
