How to become an asset for our team :

As Operations Manager Ocean freight (m / f / d) you hold the strings :

Negotiating and expanding local carrier contracts (Import & Export) in alignment with the regional PMO

Managing payment terms, demurrage, detention, and drop-off / pick-up agreements

Hosting regular meetings with strategic carrier partners

Creating a market overview (buying & selling) for the MED region

Driving joint customer development for V & A customers together with local sales and operations teams

Monitoring operational quality and KPIs across branches in your area of responsibility

Maintaining rates in Freightify for local carrier agreements

What makes you special for us :

Completed commercial or logistics-related education

At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development within air & sea logistics

Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills

Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken

Organizational strength and confidence in negotiations

Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, and Cargo Wise

A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Mediterranean locations
