What You Will Be DoingThe finishing department is a key section of our production facility ensuring that our customers’ campaigns and event products arrive finished, trimmed and ready for installation or use. You will be responsible for finishing and collating printed or supplied products according to job bag and campaign specifications. Working as part of a finishing team, you will handle a variety of material types, large and small format items, 3D structures, and use standard finishing machinery.
You will work closely with account and production teams to ensure all projects are delivered and all client requirements are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities- Set daily tasks.
- Follow instructions surrounding campaign and event finishing requirements.
- Report to Finishing Unit Manager.
- Work as a team to achieve daily objectives to a high standard.
- Follow an online work schedule.
- Follow health & safety rules and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the rest of the team and departments.
- Zund cutting tables – cutting, kiss cutting, routing, etc.
- Laminating – heated rollers and rolls rollers.
- Hand finishing – vinyl wrap mounting, weeding, etc.
- Eyelets and hemming – finishing of banners/textiles.
- Various manual finishing operations – glueing, assembly, taping, etc.
- Excellent time‑keeping and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and observe finishing techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks.
- Organised, capable, friendly and helpful.
- Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure.
- Stickler for processes, great attention to detail, and a focus on right first time.
- Take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm and motivated.
- Able to report and provide precise information for management on request.
- Health and safety trained.
- Manual handling required.
