Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at the Oshawa Executive Airport.
Reporting to the East Chief Engineer, duties include:
Planning and performing aircraft maintenance.Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.Organizing and maintaining the hangar and support equipment.Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications
Hold a valid Transport Canada License (M1 and/or M2).Must have completed a H Transport Canada Approved Type Course and be eligible to obtain H series Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA).Experience and/or ACA on the AS series is considered an asset.Strong avionics troubleshooting background is considered an asset.Ability to obtain Access to Controlled Goods Approval.Must have the legal right to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship).Drug and alcohol testing will be required prior to employment along with a negative criminal record.Must be organized and a self-starter.Must be customer focused and be a team player.Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.Communication skills in English;
French is an asset.
