Position: Count Team Attendant (Part-time) - Port Perry
Location: Port PerryGreat Blue Heron Casino & Hotel is seeking a Part-time Count Team Attendant!
The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following in support of the company’s vision, mission and values:
Excellent internal and external customer service skills are required to be displayed at all timesMaintain a high level of accuracy to stay within strict variance guidelinesAdhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the company, the department and AGCOEnsure the policy of confidentiality within the company is adhered to at all timesSafeguard Casino AssetsCount and report the daily drop to the accounting departmentFollow all pre-established routes for the dropPrepare the drop for buyResponsible for all cash, plaques, forms, documents and files in the soft/hard count roomAdhere to health and safety regulationsEnsure all documentation is completed accurately and neatly according to standardsBalance all records at the end of shiftConduct oneself in a professional manner at all timesTo ensure that all gaming revenues are correctly accounted for and internal control procedures have been followedPerform other duties in the count room as required by the Count Team Leader/Cage ManagerSuccessful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:
High school diplomaPrevious large cash volume handling experience is an assetExcellent math skills are requiredPrevious Bookkeeping or Accounting knowledge is an assetMust be able to work in a team environment and closed in quartersMust have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an ongoing basisAbility to work in a fast pace environmentCandidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights.
