Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver

Deliver construction equipment from Cooper Equipment Rentals in Oshawa using Class 3 or DZ licensing and heavy-load securement experience. Outdoor, customer-facing driving supports jobsite deliveries.
As a Driver DZ - Class 3, you will transport aerial, earth moving, and compaction equipment between customers and jobsites. The position requires accurate inspections, regulatory logs, delivery records, and professional communication with dispatch, supervisors, customers, and colleagues. You will also provide basic safe-operation instruction when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver diverse construction equipment to customer jobsites
Load, unload, secure, and inspect transported equipment
Complete inspections, regulatory logs, timesheets, and records
Communicate delivery issues and schedule delays promptly
Maintain trucks and tag broken equipment for repair
Requirements:
Valid Class 3 or DZ driver’s license
Clean or satisfactory abstract with no more than three demerit points
Heavy-duty equipment operation, securement, and transportation experience
Manual transmission and city-driving comfort
Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
Use safe driving, equipment handling, and customer communication skills to support Cooper Equipment Rentals deliveries throughout Oshawa and surrounding jobsites.
