This seasonal driver position supports commercial snow removal during unpredictable weather conditions. You will operate company-provided pickup trucks, manage assigned routes independently, and communicate with supervisors throughout shifts. Availability is required throughout the contract, including overnight work, weekends, holidays, and short-notice callouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly when winter snow events are dispatched
Operate trucks safely around vehicles, buildings, and pedestrians
Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Clear properties efficiently to company standards
Maintain communication with supervisors during shifts
Requirements:
At least one year of snow plowing experience required
Comfort operating equipment in difficult winter conditions
Dependable, punctual, and responsive to management calls
Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location
Commitment to the November 15-April 25 seasonal contract
Support dependable commercial snow removal through Durham Region with MLC Landscaping, combining safe driving, communication, and winter availability.
