Driver- 3 Ton/5 Ton

Contract Length: 4 - 8 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)

Salary:$21.00-$22.00/hour

• Safely operate a 3-ton or 5-ton truck to complete daily deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload merchandise, ensuring products are handled safely and securely.
• Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Verify delivery information, including customer names, addresses, and order details.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, additional pickups, and route changes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any vehicle-related issues.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required, including material handling and housekeeping.
• Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
• Previous experience operating 3-ton and/or 5-ton trucks is required.
• Clean driver's abstract and CVOR.
• Previous delivery and customer service experience is an asset.
• Ability to load and unload merchandise and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and the ability to follow delivery routes.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
