Work onsite in Thunder Bay as an AZ tanker driver handling chemicals, loading customer tanks, and completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Chemtrade’s Tanker Driver Plant Helper performs transportation and plant operations within a Liquid Alum facility. The work includes loading and unloading product, safely handling hoses, monitoring chemical processes, maintaining records, and following Standard Operating Procedures. Rotating shifts and seasonal outdoor conditions apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload product from tanker trucks
- Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Document plant processes and maintain inventory records
- Follow procedures for confined spaces and working at heights
- Minimum two years of recent tractor or tanker experience
- Minimum one year of recent tanker experience
- AZ license with TDG Training
- Clean driving record for the past three years
- Ability to climb, lift, and work seasonal temperatures
