Position: Senior Accountant - Permanent - 18133
About the Opportunity

Our client in Ottawa east is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

High volume, complex account and credit card reconciliations

Processing payments, preparing bank deposits

Posting of journal entries, working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed

Processing payroll as well as tax and WSIB remittances

Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts

Production of Financial Statements, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual results including Income Statements, P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management

Assisting with financial reporting and analysis as needed, working closely with Senior Management

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)

5+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting

Strong problem-solving skills

Highly organized, strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills (English essential)

Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
