Auto Body Detailer

Overview

Auto Body Detailer at Assured Automotive. The Detailer pre-washes vehicles prior to moving them into production, and cleans and details all assigned vehicles prior to final delivery to the customer. The position is also responsible for completing general repair facility cleaning responsibilities while working with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.

• Cleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Protects and preserves automobile exterior by buffing, polishing and applying waxes
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
• Keep the shop clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containers
• Maintain a clean and organized parking lot at all times
• Power wash the shop floor as required
• Maintain and organize the vehicles in the parking lot daily (incl. keys, floor mats and RO signs)
• Support the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan to meet quality and productivity standards and contribute to the shop s efficiency and Net Promoter Score (NPS)

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and work under pressure

• Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license required

$17.60-$22/hour. Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
